What Can You Do?

If you observe any activity on this property that requires a permit, please call the Bureau of Development Services Code Violations and Enforcement Hotline at 823-CODE (2633) as quickly as possible so that the city can send out an inspector. As of June 12, no permits have been issued. You can view the status of permits on this property at: http://www.portlandmaps.com/detail.cfm?action=Permits&propertyid=R216626&state_id=1N1E25CC%20%20200&address_id=606228&intersection_id=&dynamic_point=0&x=7654829.422&y=689085.105&place=2828%20NE%20TILLAMOOK%20ST&city=PORTLAND&neighborhood=GRANT%20PARK&seg_id=111298.

What You Can Do: Write a note to Commissioner Dan Saltzman who oversees the Bureau of Development Services and Mayor Sam Adams. Share your thoughts about why you love this neighborhood and why the new infill house should be designed in keeping with proportions and spacing of surrounding homes. Feel free to comment on how you feel about the developer operating without proper permits and in violation of code. The City of Portland should have a zero tolerance for this type of action.

Please send an email and then ask your neighbors and friends in the neighborhood to visit this blog and write their own notes.
